The game, between the Harlem Wizards and Harrison schools staff, brought together much of the community to raise the money, which will ultimately go toward funding the Visiting Author, Theater Arts, Educational Enrichment and Chess clubs at Parsons Memorial, Harrison Avenue, S.J. Preston and Purchase elementary schools, according to Monica Miles, a district spokeswoman.
The Harlem Wizards are doing a fair amount for schools in Westchester this winter.
Earlier this month, the team took on educators in Chappaqua. Next month, the team is scheduled to go head-to-head with faculty and staff in Rye Neck schools.
